Our areas of interest are listed below. Volunteer opportunities are scheduled intermittently through the year.
If you are an individual looking to volunteer, please share your contact information with us and we will contact you when a volunteer opportunity is available.

Areas of Interest
Host a community meal
Many of our residents struggle with food insecurity. Some experience difficulty cooking a meal for themselves. Access to nutritious and affordable food is often a struggle among low-income populations.
Hosting a community meal provides residents with a healthy meal and encourages a sense of community among our residents and neighbors.
Make welcome baskets
Most of the residents entering our program do not own essential items that many of us take for granted. To address this, we want to offer Welcome Baskets to new residents, including vital household items such as a toothbrush, soap, pillows...
Throwing a welcome basket party involves your team purchasing and/or packaging these vital care items, so new residents can feel at home.
Organize our pantry
We are so grateful for the generous donations and contributions of our supporters. Maintaining a neat and orderly emergency pantry makes keeping inventory and sharing resources with residents a smoother and more organized process.
Organizing our emergency pantry is a great activity for volunteers who love to keep things tidy. It keeps our support service coordinators free to focus their time and energy on serving our residents.
Lead community cleanup
Clean, well-maintained spaces instill a sense of neighborhood price and break a cycle of hopelessness. Picking up litter, washing away dirt, groundskeeping and maintaining lawns can drastically improve the face of the neighborhood.
Leading a community clean-up day improves neighborhood health, enhances the community quality of life, and boosts residents self-image and pride in their space.
Hold a supply drive
Gather your work team, local church, or other community organization and put on a supply drive. Collect essential items such as feminine hygiene products, paper toiletries, soap, etc. to stock our pantries and support our residents.
Holding a supply drive provides a great opportunity to get your community involved in volunteerism on their own time, such as collecting supply drive items over the course of a month.
Painting with Partners
Our properties are rehabilitated buildings that have withstood the test of time - but a little freshening up never hurt anyone! We need help giving our residences a fresh coat of paint to ensure our residents' homes look clean and lively.
Painting with Partners is open to groups or individuals who enjoy moving their bodies and having fun. We provide drinks, snacks, and the paint supplies - just wear clothes you don't mind painting in.
